GUNTUR: Army Recruiting Office in Guntur has invited applications from candidates in Andhra Pradesh for the post of Havildar (Education) in Group X in the Army. The last date for sending applications to HQ Rtg Zone (TN, AP, UT of Pondicherry and AN Gp of Island) Pin: 900432 c/o 56 APO is November 1. The candidates should have completed their graduation and Bachelor of Education to become eligible for written test on January 28, 2007, at Saint Thomas Mount in Chennai. Those born between May 1, 1982, and April 30, 1987, need apply for the post and a screening test would be organised at Police Parade Grounds in Guntur on December 4. The Director Recruiting S. Adhikari in a release asked candidates to come along with all original academic certificates, domicile and NCC certificates at 6 a.m. on December 4 to attend the screening, physical fitness and medical examination. Other details about physical test and medical examination can be had from the Army Recruiting Office at Ravindranagar in Guntur or over 0863-2230008. Mr. Adhikari asked the candidates not to approach touts and middlemen and believetheir false promises of recruitment in the Army.
