Sri Sri Ravi Shankar to visit Kollam

KOLLAM: The `jathas' to mark the Kollam visit of Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be inaugurated on October 6 by renowned musician and Art of Living international teacher Vikram Hasra.

Ravi Shankar is scheduled to visit Kollam on November 12. The general conveners of the reception committee for Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's visit, V.R. Baburaj and Riji Nair said, following the inaugural function, Mr. Hasra will lead a musical programme.

Mr. Hasra is noted for his work in creating fusion devotional music. This will be his first visit to Kollam, Dr. Nair said at a press conference here on Wednesday.

Mr. Hasra has organised musical shows in several countries. Mr. Baburaj said, on the occasion, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will inaugurate the `Jnaana Kshethram, coming up at Thoppilkadavu in the city.
