LUCKNOW: Accusing the Centre of violating the Haj Committee Act while forming the Central Haj Committee, the Shia National Front on Thursday demanded the immediate dissolution of the body. The Act states there should be four Sunni members, three Shia members, four Muslim MPs and 11 government officers in the committee, but this provision was totally ignored while forming the committee, SNF general secretary Maulana M Yashoo Abbas told reporters. He said Maulana Abdul Bilal Hai Hashmi, who was accommodated in the committee from the Shia quota, was a Sunni.- PTI
