Seven years' RI for robbery

New Delhi: A city court on Thursday sentenced two men to seven years' rigorous imprisonment for robbing an auto-rickshaw owner of his vehicle besides a few hundred rupees and a wrist-watch two years ago in west Delhi. Holding Liyaqat Khan and Rajesh of Mongolpuri here guilty of robbery and dacoity, Additional Sessions Judge Narottam Kaushal also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 each on them. According to the prosecution, Khan, Rajesh and one Rakesh also of Mongolpuri hired an auto rickshaw on Feb. 29, 2004 to go to Uttam Nagar.
