Nanjil Sampath moves High Court for bail

CHENNAI: Senior MDMK functionary Nanjil Sampath, who was arrested on Wednesday, has moved the Madras High Court for bail. When the matter came up before vacation judge Justice A.C. Arumugaperumal Adityan on Thursday, senior counsel R. Gandhi submitted that Mr. Sampath would not be able to campaign for the civic elections. The Judge adjourned the matter to Friday.
