Naga Babu is MAA president

HYDERABAD:
Actor-producer K. Naga Babu, actor Jagapathi Babu and writer Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao were on Thursday declared unanimously elected president, executive vice-president and treasurer respectively, of the Movie Artistes' Association (MAA).
Naga Babu, brother of megastar Chiranjeevi succeeds actor-producer M. Mohan Rao as MAA president. Also elected unanimously were A.J.V. Ahuthi Prasad and M. Vinod Bala as joint secretaries. The declaration was made by V. Krishnamohan, MAA's legal advisor-cum-election officer as the time for withdrawals came to a close on Thursday.
Elections for other posts will be held on October 8.
