Chemical unit gas leak kills 3

AHMEDABAD : Three people died and three were in a critical condition in a gas leak in a chemical factory at Ankleshwar in Gujarat in the early hours of Friday.

Police said the six labourers inhaled toxic fumes coming from the hydrogen sulphide plant of Pragna Chemicals in the Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation estate.

Gujarat Pollution Control Board personnel have gone to the spot for investigations.
