Aircel crosses 3-million subscriber mark

CHENNAI : Mobile operator Aircel has crossed the three million-subscriber mark. The Aircel network is currently available in more than 700 towns across Tamil Nadu and is likely to cross 1,000 towns by the end of 2006. The company had recently rolled out its GSM cellular services in Assam, Orissa, West Bengal and Jammu & Kashmir telecom circles and has immediate rollout plans in Bihar and Himachal Pradesh.
