Puducherry: Pharmacists working in Government hospitals in the Union Territory, who had gone on mass casual leave for nearly two weeks, called off their agitation on Thursday in response to the steps taken by Chief Minister N. Rangasamy to issue orders to fulfill their demands. The staff had been insisting on upward revision of pay scales and filling up of vacant posts among other demands. The Chief Minister held a discussion with the Committee's delegation on Thursday.
