Temporary truce in Goa coalition
Special Correspondent
PANAJI:
A Congress high command observer has brought about a temporary truce in the ruling Goa coalition, which faced a crisis over a PCC resolution seeking the removal of a non-Congress Minister from the Government.
Tuesday's resolution demanded the removal of PWD Minister Ramkrishna Dhavlikar, lone member of the Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party, but non-Congress Ministers rallied behind him. Congress leader Siddarth Patel, who arrived here on Thursday, attended the CLP meeting and prevented a discussion on the issue.
