Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: The Union Health Ministry has postponed the Institute Body meeting of the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences, scheduled for October 10, in view of dengue outbreak in the capital, particularly in the AIIMS.

The Minister has rescheduled the meeting for October 18 as more afflicted people continue to seek treatment in the hospital, according to ministry sources.

While the agenda is yet to be finalised, Ministry officials say dengue will be discussed.

Till today, 114 patients afflicted with dengue, 26 of them from the AIIMS, were treated in the hospital. The condition of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's two grandsons and son-in-law, who have been admitted there, is stable.
