GUNTUR: Doctors at Sanjeevi Orthopaedic Centre in Guntur last week successfully operated upon a patient suffering from Cervical Disc Prolapse and fixed Locking Compression Plate. A team of doctors headed by Y. Laxmana Swamy, assisted by Paturi Kiran Choudary and N. Srinivasa Rao performed the operation successfully. This new method of fixation with Locking Compression Plate gives better comfort to the patient, according to a release. This type of Locking Compression Plate fixation was done for the first time in coastal AP, the release added.
