BSNL open house

Open House sessions will be held at all offices of area managers and Deputy General Manager (Rural) of BSNL, Bangalore Telecom District on Saturday at 10 a.m.

BSNL customers can use this opportunity to present their grievances and suggestions.

Free dialysis service

In view of many needy persons requiring dialysis on a regular basis, the Captain V.V.K. Mani Memorial Free Dialysis Service is to launched on October 11 at CSI Hospital. Mani was active in the Rotary movement and was a former Regional Manager of The Hindu.

Seminar

R.B.A.N.M. First Grade College is organising on October 11 and 12 a national seminar on `Technology enabled teaching: learning processes in collegiate education.' The keynote address will be by S. Sadagopan, director, International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.

Lorry driver killed

A lorry driver was killed and six passengers of private bus were injured when the two vehicles collided at Sheshagirihalli in Bidadi police station limits on Friday.

According to police, Nagaraj, the lorry driver, died on the spot. The injured passengers of the Bangalore-bound Mysore bus have been hospitalised.
