KADAPA: Around 300 persons, identified in polio screening camps held at Kadapa, Rajampet and Proddatur, to undergo polio surgical correction were examined at a mega polio camp at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences here on Saturday. Inaugurating the camp, Collector M.T. Krishna Babu said that all the 300 polio-afflicted persons, aged under-25 years, would be operated upon at RIMS by Dr. S.V. Adinarayana and staff of Prema Hospitals in Visakhapatnam within two days. Those picked up for surgery along with an attendant would be provided free food during the treatment period of five days. Thereupon, they would be provided transport to Proddatur and Rajampet on the discharge of their duty.
