KARIMNAGAR: There is likely to be hectic activity in Karimnagar town on October 14 with the Chief Minister Y. S. Rajashekhara Reddy conducting a review meeting and on the other hand the Telangana Vidyavanthula Vedika conducting a massive cultural programme called `Telangana dhoom-dham' in the town. The Chief Minister will be conducting review meeting with the district-officials and non-officials from morning 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the town. He will review the progress of irrigation projects, Indiramma scheme, four per cent interest to women SHGs, Indira Prabha, Employment guarantee scheme, Rajiv Yuvashakthi, health, electricity, welfare programmes and follow up of foundation stones laid by the Chief Minister in the district.
Cultural programmes
On the other hand, the Telangana Vidyavanthula Vedika and the local artistes have decided to organise `Telangana Dhoom-dham' on October 14 evening. They will take a massive rally from the Telangana martyrs memorial in the town to the Circus grounds demanding separate statehood for Telangana.
