Food samples taken from hotel

HYDERABAD: The MCH Health and Sanitation Department has picked up food samples from Hotel Fortune Katriya in Begumpet following a complaint by a customer that he was served stale food.

Circle Five's AMOH Dr. K. Venkateshwar Reddy said that refrigerated non-vegetarian food items were picked up from the hotel. They will be sent for food analysis and a report is expected in 10 days. Action, if any, will be taken based on the report, he said.
