First convocation of MANAGE held

National Institute of Agriculture Extension Management (MANAGE) at Rajendranagar organised its first convocation to award PG diplomas on Saturday. According to a press release, PG diplomas were awarded to 175 students in courses that include agriculture business management, agriculture journalism and mass communication, agriculture warehousing and supply chain management and agriculture extension management. Thirteen meritorious students were also awarded gold medals by Prof. Ram Mohan Rao, Dean of Indian School of Business.
Prof. Rao highlighted the fact that with the advent of globalisation, number of opportunities are available in the agriculture sector.He said that research in agriculture has taken a front row in the backdrop of World Trade Organisation.
