Face-to-face with candidates

Siruthuli, Karam, Kural, Citizens Voice Club and Residents' Awareness Association of Coimbatore will organise a face-to-face on Sunday (October 8) with candidates contesting from Wards 1 and 2 (Peelamedu area) in the local body elections. The meeting will be held at the Bharathi Colony community hall at 6 p.m. Residents of these areas could participate.

Training

The Coimbatore District Small Industries Association and St. John Ambulance will conduct a part-time training programme in First Aid from October 10 to 18.

According to a release, workers and employees of factories can participate. The syllabus will cover first aid treatment for bruises, fractures, food poisoning, electric shocks.
