HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy on Sunday reiterated that there would be no hike in power tariff for domestic consumers following efforts to improve internal efficiency in power utilities. The decision would benefit 1.36 crore families, the Chief Minister said while urging the power utilities to continue efforts to further bring down the losses and improve customer services. He complimented Transco officials, including its Managing Director T. Rachel Chatterjee, after the premier power utility was chosen the `Most admired organisation in the State sector' by New Delhi-based Power Line magazine.
