Workshop on anaemia

MANIPAL: The Workshop on "Anaemia Free India" organised by the Udupi and Manipal units of Indian Medical Association, Lions Club and Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Kasturba Hospital, was launched here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, the chief operating officer of Kasturba Hospital D.P. Saraswat said that endeavours such as the workshop would help in removing anaemia. The Kasturba Hospital aimed to serve the coastal districts, he said. District Health Officer M.R. Nayak released the brochure on anaemia.
