Work on four roads to be completed by December

Bangalore: Only four roads under the first package of Karnataka Municipal Reforms Project (KMRP) will be completed by December, the Bangalore Mahanagara Palike said on Saturday, according to a press release.

Seven roads were to be completed by late November, but only N.R. Road, Bannerghatta Road, Koramangala 80-Foot Road and Kammanahalli Main Road would be completed, the press release said.

Kathreguppa Main Road and Padarayanapura Main Road would be taken up under the second phase, and the upgradation of Magadi Road will be taken up under the third phase, the release added.

BMP Commissioner K. Jairaj directed officials to complete upgradation of the 29th Main Road in BTM layout by the end of October. It would be completed under the fourth phase of KMRP.
