HAPPY BIRTHDAY: TV and radio channels have lined up day-long programmes on Amitabh Bachchan as he turns 64 today.
The magic of Amitabh Bachchan lingers on. The man who changed the concept of heroes and heroics in the Hindi cinema three and a half decades ago turns 64 this Wednesday. While he would not be celebrating his birthday on a large scale as his mother is unwell and in hospital, there is no stopping his fans. And to give them a day to cherish, various radio channels have also planned daylong programmes centred round the original Angry Young Man. To announce its arrival on the scene, BIG 92.7 FM would be airing contests, trivia and songs associated with the Big B. So listeners tuning in to the channel would get to hear contests, best of Big B songs with trivia, Bollywood artistes sharing their Best Big B experience, comedian Sunil Pal in Big B's voice doing a hilarious take on KBC, best of Big B dialogues throughout his career and much more.
In fact the celebrations have already begun and in a prelude to the great actor's talent and following many of the channels have started playing his songs. With more to follow on the `B'day, for the large number of Amitabh Bachchan fans October 11 is going to
