NEW DELHI: Asian Games silver winner K.M. Binu, diagnosed to be suffering from appendicitis while at a training camp in Kiev, Ukraine, more than two weeks ago, has resumed training at the NIS, Patiala. Though initially he was getting ready to undergo surgery for appendicitis, having delayed it in Kiev, the doctors were against an operation after he arrived here. Further investigations, however, revealed kidney stones for which he is presently undergoing treatment. "I had experienced some pain while in Delhi, but there is no pain now," said Binu while speaking from Patiala on Tuesday. Binu had won the silver medal in the 800 metres at the last Asian Games in Busan, but was getting ready this season for the 400 metres.
