BAGHDAD: The Iraqi police found 57 unidentified bodies in the 24 hours ending Tuesday morning in the capital, most of them believed to be victims of sectarian violence. ``The number of the unidentified bodies found by police patrols rose to 57 until this morning in Baghdad neighbourhoods,'' an Interior Ministry source said. Most of the bodies were blindfolded and showed signs of torture with bullet holes in different parts of their bodies, the source said on condition of anonymity.
Saddam sent out
The chief judge trying the former Iraqi leader, Saddam Hussein, and six of his aides ordered Mr. Hussein out of the courtroom on Tuesday after argument. The judge Muhammed Ureybi interrupted Mr. Hussein who recited a verse when he was allowed to speak after the first woman Kurdish witness finished giving testimony. Xinhua
