Prabhakar murder case postponed

ANANTAPUR: Nine accused in the Tagarakunta Prabhakar murder case were given copies of chargesheet by the Additional Judicial First Class Magistrate's Court here on Tuesday. The case was postponed to October 24.

Key accused J. Srinivasa Reddy alias Moddu Sreenu, P. Narayana Reddy and P. Damodar Reddy were produced before the Judge after being brought from Hyderabad, where they are lodged in Charlapalli and Chanchalguda jails. Another accused G. Suryanarayana Reddy alias Suri and five others, lodged in district jail near here, were also produced in the court.

A close associate of Paritala Ravindra and the then MPP of Tagarakunta, B. Prabahakar was shot dead on September 5, 2004 here.
