ONGOLE : The CPI (Maoist) has given a call for bandh in Nallamala forest areas extending across Prakasam, Kurnool, Mahaboobnagar and Guntur districts on October 12 to protest against the killing of a top leader, Sudarsan in an alleged fake encounter in Anantapur district on October 6. CPI (Maoist) district committee member Sagar called some select journalists over telephone on Tuesday and informed about the bandh call. He alleged that police had picked up Sudarsan in Bangalore bus stand on the basis of information given by one covert, subjected him to torture before killing in a fake encounter.
