Dadhich new Kota open varsity V-C

JAIPUR: Noted Gandhian scholar and professor in Rajasthan University's Political Science Department, Naresh Dadhich, has been appointed Vice-Chancellor of Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota. Prof. Dadhich, who specialises in peace studies, has 28 years of teaching experience at the university.

Rajasthan Governor and Chancellor of universities, Pratibha Patil, issued orders for Prof. Dadhich's appointment for three years here on Monday.

Prof. Dadhich has authored six books, including "Gandhi and Existentialism'', and numerous articles in research journals and has travelled abroad extensively on academic assignments.

He was Director of the Centre for Gandhian Studies at Rajasthan University for several years.
