Minister to hold meeting on dengue
The Minister told presspersons here that the meeting would be held on Thursday. Dengue was yet to make its presence felt this year, but one suspected case had been reported in Gulbarga. The test results would be known on Wednesday, he said. Staff Correspondent

Schools to be improved
The Minister on Tuesday held a meeting with officials, Ministers, MLAs and MLCs of that region to discuss ways to improve the quality of education in Gulbarga, Bidar, Raichur, Koppal and Bellary districts. Two die of snake-bite
In another incident, Mallikarjuna (20), son of Kalppa, was bitten by a snake while he was asleep in front of his house in Satekellur village in Lingsugur taluk on Monday. He died on the way to hospital. The Maski police have registered a case. Staff Correspondent
Jewellery stolen
The incident came to light on Tuesday morning. According to Paresh Rawal, owners of Mahashakti Jewellers, seven kilograms of gold jewellery has been stolen. He has named in the complaint Vikram who was employed by him and Babusingh who had brought Vikram to work. The accused, who were natives of Rajasthan, are absconding. Staff Correspondent
