Sanitation drive to be launched

KOCHI: Kerala Congress leader P.J. Joseph will launch a sanitation drive in Ernakulam on October 12. This will be the second phase of the project launched by the party earlier, said the party district president Shibu Thekkumpuram at a press conference here on Tuesday. The project to make Kerala a clean State was launched by the party in 2005. - Staff Reporter

Awareness camp

KOCHI: An awareness camp on prevention of diseases like chikungunya will be organised by the Kerala Congress (Jacob), in association with Homoeo medical colleges. The programme will be held at the Gandhinagar Lions auditorium, Kadavanthra. Actor Captain Raju will inaugurate the programme.

Ayurvedic and homeopathic medicines would be distributed free from October 14 to 18, said Kerala Congress(Jacob) district unit president Wilson Paulos, at a press conference. Homoeo doctor K.N. Pai also participated in the press meet. - Staff Reporter
