Info on AU degree examination fee

VISAKHAPATNAM: Andhra University has informed its affiliated colleges the fee to be collected from the students for the undergraduate degree examinations to be held during March 2007.

According to a press release from Joint Registrar and Controller of Examinations of AU G. Gavarraju, Rs. 380 is the fee for first year whole examinations of B.A. and B.Com courses and Rs. 445 for the B.Sc. examination. The fee includes Rs. 80 for English practical examination of all the courses.

For second year whole examination also the fee is Rs.380 for B.A. and B.Com. courses and Rs. 465 for B.Sc. course (including the English practical examination). For the final year whole examination, the B.A. and B.Com. candidates have to pay Rs. 850 while the fee for B.Sc. examination is Rs. 935. The fee for all courses includes Rs.150 for high-tech provisional certificate-cum-marks sheet and Rs. 400 for high-tech original degree certificate.

Candidates studying first and second year of B.A., B.Com or B.Sc. who are appearing for only some subjects have to pay Rs. 55 for each subject, including for practical examination.

For supplementary candidates who appear for examinations after completing their course of study the fee to be paid is Rs. 55 for each subject of the first year and a stationery fee of Rs. 100 and Rs. 55 for each subject of second year. Fee for final year examinations is Rs. 110 for each subject. Fee for all the three years includes practical examination. Late fee is Rs. 300. The betterment fee is fixed at Rs. 100 with which a stationery fee of Rs. 100 has to be paid in addition to the actual examination fee.
