GULBARGA: The district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has condemned the action of the Chikmagalur District Administration and the police in arresting BJP State president Mr Sadananda Gowda, MP, and legislators C. T. Ravi and Shobha Karandalgi for taking out a procession as part of the "Shoba Yatra" in Chikmagalur on Tuesday. In a statement here on Wednesday, the BJP's district unit president Shashil G. Namoshi, MLC said the police action to stop a peaceful procession was uncalled for.
