Dengue has claimed four lives this year in State

BANGALORE: Dengue has claimed four lives and affected 60 people in the State this year.

Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, Minister for Health R. Ashok said the Health Department officials, deputy commissioners, and chief executive officers of zilla panchayats have been instructed to take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the disease in the State.

A meeting of the department will be held on Thursday to chalk out measures to prevent the spread of the disease in the State.
