Correction

In the report on Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi's press conference in Coimbatore that appeared on October 11, 2006 titled "Jayalalithaa's claim on disposal of files contested", the sentence should read "When the DMK went out of power in 2001, the State had a loan of Rs. 28,000 crore. But when the party wrested power from the AIADMK in 2006, it was close to Rs. 56,000 crore" and not as published.
