CHANDIGARH: Paddy arrivals in the mandis of Haryana have touched 13.28 lakh metric tonnes, according to Deputy Chief Minister Chander Mohan. He said here on Wednesday that over 9.79 lakh metric tonnes had been procured by the six Government agencies and over 3.48 lakh metric tonnes by the private millers and dealers. Mr. Chander Mohan said that Kurukshetra district was leading in paddy arrival with 3.57 lakh tonnes followed by Karnal (2.77 lakh tonnes), Fatehabad 2.33 lakh metric tones, Kaithal 1.85 lakh metric tones and Ambala 61,758 metric tonnes.
