Fire in bank building

CHENNAI: A minor fire was reported in public sector bank on the MTH Road, Ambattur, early on Wednesday.

Police said the cause of the fire was not known immediately.

Murdered

Vijaya (56) was murdered by robbers here on Wednesday, who escaped with the 10-sovereign "mangalsutra".
