MCH to penalise tax defaulters

The MCH will impose penalty on defaulters who have not paid their half-yearly property tax before October 16, according to a press release. The tax collection counters will remain open on October 14 and 15, which are public holidays, to enable the public to pay the tax.

Office of Jet Airways shifted

The office of Jet Airways has been shifted to Reliance Krishna, Hill Fort Road. Jet Airways vice-president (sales and marketing) Sonu Kirplani inaugurated the new office here on Wednesday. Chief operations officer Gary Kingshort was also present.

Medication course

A free introductory course in Pranahuti-aided meditation will be held at the Imperience Institute for Research and Training on October 14 and 15. Registrations are done over telephone number 27731223 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. before October 13.

Training programme

A day's training programme on `Safe handling of chlorine' for industrial units, using the gas, was organised here on Wednesday by the Department of Factories.

The department officials emphasised the need for safe handling of chlorine in industrial establishments, according to an official release.
