Coimbatore: Natarajan (56), a prisoner in the Central Jail, died on Wednesday. He had completed 12 years of rigorous imprisonment in a murder case. He was arrested again in 2002 in another murder case. On conviction he was sent to the Central Prison in 2004. He had been treated for cardiac ailment in 2005 at a Government Hospital in Chennai. According to the prison sources, he was found in unconscious state in his cell on Wednesday morning. After first aid in jail hospital, he was rushed to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital but he died en route.
