Abandoned infant adopted

Thiruvananthapuram: A five-day-old infant found abandoned at a private hospital in Kollam was adopted by the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare.

The council authorities named the child Ragesh.

With this, the number of children at the adoption centre of the council has gone up to 41, administrator B. Rajagopal said in a release.
