THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 13-year-old girl who went missing from a destitute home in Vellarada on Wednesday evening after she allegedly fared badly in the examinations was produced before District Collector N. Ayyappan by the police late on Wednesday night. Revathy, a student of Class VIII at Rajendra High School, Vellarada, sought refuge in a house near the destitute home. She was subsequently traced by the authorities of the home with the help of the police and produced before Mr. Ayyappan. Revathy, who expressed her disinterest in returning to the home, was sent to the Sree Chithra Poor Home.
