Bangalore: The Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced that the casual vacancy round seat selection for all eligible rank holders under lateral entry scheme for seats in evening engineering colleges in Bangalore will be held on October 12 and 13. There will be two sessions each day: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with reporting time being 8 a.m. and 2 to 6 p.m. with reporting time at 1 p.m. On Thursday first session, candidates belonging to various reserved, rural and Kannada-medium categories with professional experience of six years and above will be allowed to select seats. The same afternoon, candidates belonging to reserved, rural and Kannada-medium categories with professional experience of one year and above will be allowed to select seats.
For general merit
On October 13 in the first session, candidates belonging to general merit and all reserved categories with professional experience of six years and above will be allowed to select seats. In the afternoon session, candidates belonging to general merit and all reserved categories with professional experience of one year and above will be allowed to select seats. CET Cell announced that the casual vacancy seat selection process for evening colleges located in Mysore was conducted on Wednesday.
