TRADITIONAL: Students of Sri Vani Education Centre participating in the Dasara festivities.
BANGALORE: Tiny tots of Sri Vani Education Centre, Hanumavana, put up an excellent tableau of the Mysore Dasara on their premises. Various noteworthy features of the State were part of the tableau. The tradition of the State, including its exclusive food items, heritage sites, the poets who have enriched Kannada and even the erstwhile film stars and politicians found a representation in the procession. Various dances, such as dollu kunitha, kolata, snake dance, Bharatanatyam and a form of dance from Coorg added colour to the procession. Children donned as Raja and Rani of Mysore watched the cultural programmes.
