KHAMMAM: Maoists killed Jaganmohan Reddy, a contractor, and Bolla Krishna, upa sarpanch of Anantaram, in Manguru sub-division on Thursday. Both of them were branded `police informers' and whisked away from the village into the forests.
Nirmala, secretary of the Manuguru-Kothagudem area committee, and dalam commander Satyam led the `operation.' The Anantaram village situated close to the Tadwai forest had been under the infleunce of different extremist groups operating in the area. A police officer said the upa sarpanch and the contractor had provided food and shelter to Maoists and that they had no links with the police.
