Idea Cellular enters Rajasthan

JAIPUR: Idea Cellular on Thursday announced its entry into Rajasthan with an investment of Rs. 400 crore, assuring customers of innovative services and superior network coverage. In the second phase, the Aditya Birla Group company would spend Rs. 1,000 crore in the State, Vikram Mehmi, Idea President and CEO, told a press conference here. Launching the maiden service at a function, Rajasthan Governor, Pratibha Patil, said India would soon become the second largest tele-market in the world after China.
