Dubai: A person from Kerala flew back home after being "rescued" from a farm in Saudi Arabia where he was taken by his sponsor, media reports said on Thursday. Augustine Leon Therath, who had come to Qatar in August, was "rescued" from his sponsor's farm in Al-Quinn in the eastern province of Saudi Arabia by a group of Indians in the second week of September. He was later taken to the Indian consulate in Dammam and then moved to the deportation centre there. The group that rescued Mr. Augustine arranged for a ticket and he flew to Fort Kochi on Wednesday, the Gulf Times said. — PTI
