IMM-K plans management conclave

KOZHIKODE: The Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode (IIM-K), will organise `Horizons 2006-the Annual Flagship Management Conclave' on its campus from Saturday.

The theme for this year is `The dawn of an Indian century?" The Industry Interaction Cell of the IIM-K will organise the two-day event.

Thought-leaders, entrepreneurs, executives and policy makers will gather to critically analyse India's potential to realise its position as a global superpower, addressing the enormous challenges facing the country as it moves forward.

Minister for Industries Elamaram Karim will address the gathering. Chandan Mitra, MP and MD and Editor, The Pioneer; Naresh Ponnapa, CEO, Indecomm Global Services; Pavan Choudary, MD, Vygone India and Star Coach; Rajeev Gowda, faculty member, IIM-Bangalore; Air Marshal (retd.) K.C. Cariappa; Viju Parameshwar, MD and CEO, Freudenberg India; and Swapan Dasgupta, freelance journalist, will be the other speakers.
