No Central Government holiday
held on Friday. According to an official press release, all Central Government offices will function as usual on Friday. Meanwhile, the CPI (M) has brought to the notice of the State Election Commission, the Centre's notification and urged the Commission to ensure holiday for the Central offices in the State to enable the staff to vote.

Nagar and Kodambakkam - VIII, Saidapet and Kotturpuram - IX, Alwarpet and Mylapore - X A, Adyar, Thiruvanmiyur, Velachery-X B. The adjacent urbanised area office for Mogappair East/West, Anna Nagar Extensions I and II is on T.S. Krishna Nagar Main Road, Mogappair. A superintending engineer will chair the meeting.
