Malini Ramani allowed to go abroad

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: The Delhi High Court on Friday allowed fashion designer Malini Ramani, a key witness in the Jessica Lal murder case, to visit Bangkok between October 21 and October 30 to participate in a fashion show there.

Allowing her request, Justice Anil Kumar directed her to furnish a bank guarantee of Rs. 5 lakh to the High Court Registry as a personal bond to return to the country.

The Court directed Ms. Ramani's father George Mailhot and mother Bina Ramani to submit their respective passports as a surety to Ms. Malini's assurance to the Court to return to the country.
