An exclusive column?

As an avid reader of The Hindu for over 50 years, of late, I find a remarkable increase in the number of letters from your overseas readers. What amazes me is that they have the time to go through the entire paper of the day (to do which I spend over 5 hours every day) and make their meaningful comments on e-mail, and the newspaper scrutinises and publishes them the very next day. It shows their awareness on what is happening back home. It would even appear that they are better than us.

At this rate, I am afraid, you may have to start a separate column to carry letters from NRIs.
