MAHABUBNAGAR: Union Minister of State for Railways R. Velu sustained injuries, including a slight dislocation of the left hand, when his car was involved in an accident near Vatvarlapally village in Amrabad mandal on Srisailam-Hyderabad road on Friday morning. Mr. Velu was returning to Hyderabad from Srisailam after visiting the famous Mallikarjunaswamy temple along with his wife and others when his car collided head on with a light commercial vehicle while overtaking a tractor at around 7 a.m. The Minister's personal secretary Srinivas sustained a head injury. After first aid , Mr. Velu, his wife and others were rushed to Hyderabad.
