Tackling pollution during Deepavali

Bangalore: The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has taken up several measures to create awareness about noise pollution in view of Deepavali. The Board has set up District Environment Protection authorities to implement the rules and regulate the sale and use of firecrackers. To create awareness, the board is also distributing handbills to the public through voluntary organisations,. Details can be had on 25581383/ 25589112.
